The Shallows are where the Seas of Selves mix with each other and start forming relationships. Relationships can bring feelings of warmth, care, and belonging but they can also bring turmoil, confusion, and uncertainty. The Shallows are the intermingling of the Seas of Selves (the Ocean of Consciousness) at the edge of the Landscape of Being.
