The Swamp

Brown and green we see green-covered dark swamp water and thick trees surrounding it.

Positioned between the Forest and the Wilderness, the Swamp is a murky place of misery and dread. This is where the weight of the World can pull one down. It stinks of death and rotting here and the insects will eat you alive. The Swamp is a place of sinking, suffocating thickness. It is a miasma one can easily get stuck in. While it is a forlorn place for people, it is nonetheless a thriving place for other lifeforms.
