Beyond the Sun and the Moon, far deeper into space, are the bright silver lights of distant suns and galaxies. It was obvious to our ancestors that these lights were gods. So many gods, too! Millions and billions and trillions of them. The Stars are mystery incarnate, the promise of infinity and the tease of intelligent alien life.
