Authorization
In the layer beneath us (Key 4: Spirit-Consciousness) we established a proof of being: we are the energy of being flowing from the Spirit-Consciousness which is ultimately the core of the Self. But who gave us permission to do that? Did we get permission to be? Who authorized us to become human beings? The answer is that nobody gave us permission to become. Nobody granted us authorization to become. We did not need permission to become and when it comes to seeking Authorization for Being, there is only one place we can truly find it. Right here at Key 5: Authorization.
The seeking of external authorization is an effort in futility. We learned to do it in our youth, but once we left the nest we no longer needed external authorization. But we didn't realize that so we sought it from our family, friends, peers, authority figures and our god(s). But we cannot find it out there. It is only here, flowing out from the Spirit Consciousness, that we can find true Authorization for our Being.

Revisiting the questions this card poses, we can refine them down into two fundamental seed questions: “Who?” and “Authorization (for what)?”
The answer to “Who?” is the Self . For each of us, the Self is the only source of true Authorization. The answer to “Authorization?” is twofold: Authorization for being and Authorization for action. When combined with the realization of Who, we conclude that the Self is the only true source of Authorization for our being and in turn Authorization for us to perform actions.

We have arrived at Key 5 from Key 4 (The Spirit-Consciousness) and brought with us the awareness (Key 3) that we are Authorized to be because we are. We have a right to be here. You have a right to be here.
The deepest held Gnostic secret of the occult is that nobody authorized our existence because existing authorizes existing. Thou art that. But if we must seek authorization for being or for action, we need only look deep within ourselves to find it.
